This is my go to Starbucks. The employees are very personable! I have never had an issue with this location - they always make my coffee to PURRRFECTION! They have outdoor seating (when the weather permits), free Wifi, and a drive thru for all the true coffee addicts :D. Love love love this location Favorites: Iced Coffee with Caramel Syrup & Soy Iced Caramel Macciahtio with Soy or Skim Mozzarella, Tomato, Pesto Panini Santa Fe Chicken Panini

I was in the drive - thru this morning. They got my drink order wrong -twice! I finally went in and asked for a refund because I didn't think they'd ever get it right. Manager was pleasant, genuine, and apologetic. He's the only reason I'm giving them two stars. Indian guys making drinks and taking orders need some customer service training.

They take for f-ing ever to get your drinks ready. I have been here a few times and every time it's the same. Today one car with one person was in front of us and it took 10 minutes. Worst service ever!

Disappointed with this store. I drove 11 miles because it is the only store open late. At least it was supposed to be open. The hours on the window said Thursday 10:30 pm, I in the drive thru at 10:23 and they were CLOSED. I even pulled up to the window to see if someone would help me. So, even if I'm near, I'm not going back; they stopped staying open all night and now they're not open per their own posted hours of service. I'm not sending my co-workers there anymore to be inconvenienced and I'm not going there anymore either. This store has seen their last penny from me.

It's kind of silly to review a Starbucks, but this is the one I go to most frequently. What I like is their consistency: the staff is friendly and service is pretty quick, even when I go in the morning and it's busy. This location has a drive-through, though I never use it because the line is always super long. I decided to review this one because I've been to some Starbucks locations (like the one right by the Archives metro in DC), where service is REALLY unpleasant and perfunctory.

  • Lena W.

They have a drive-thru. That's all I need in life. They're pretty fast, but the line usually can wrap down into the shopping center entrance during peak times. Otherwise, it's very standard Starbucks service. The staff are friendly and get your orders correct.

I feel awful that I forgot the young ladies name, but she was very kind and very personable - wait, I think it's Siera!!! My daughter said that she likes when they write her name on the cups, the young lady said, well, let me get that done for you! very sweet!

As compared to other Starbucks clones, this one has more tables and outlets to charge your device than most. That plus its proximity to U of MD are probably why it's usually pretty full. They do pretty well matching staffing to demand, so even with the drive thru there is seldom a long wait. Why 3 vs 4 stars? The WiFi didn't connect until I opened my browser and watched a short sponsor video - or rather set my phone down and had a sip of my venti latte until it was done. I hope that annoyance has not become a new SB standard.

Personally, I have never had anything but a good experience with fast service. Friends of mine, however, have complained of exceptionally slow service, with upwards of 15 minutes in the drive-through, for a simple cup of coffee. The staff there seems to be relatively friendly and outgoing, and always greet you with a smile.

I like Starbucks so I give this place four stars. Plus, there was a streak of two or three days they didn't have my favorite drink so they comped me a drink when it they had the ingredients in stock (it was a seasonal flavored latte - egg nog or something). This place is constantly hopping because it's close to the University of MD and the drive thru is jammed in the morning. I'm talking - bring a book to read while you're waiting in your car - jammed. Friendly staff. Good ol' Starbucks stuff.

This is my go to Starbucks. Staff are very friendly and usually make your drink your way and just like you like it!!

They allow stinky street bums to sleep on the comfy-shmumfy chairs in this Starbucks. YUCK!!! PEW!!! COUGH! HACK!!! WHEEZE!!! I was seated very far away from this stinky street bum and could smell his stench emanating, invading my nostrils from across the room. I needed to use the wi-fi here. That is the only reason why I stayed. Otherwise, I would have taken my quad vent sugar free vanilla soy latte and gone on somewhere else. Trust me.

I'm making my update have one less star because in the mornings, this place is horribly understaffed. It can take over 20 minutes just to get a coffee, which has made me stop coming by here all together on my regular commute. It's a disappointment, but the drinks (I'm sure) are still tasty. Too bad morning me will never know...

  • Scott W.

If there is more than 5 cars in line at the drive thru, it is probably faster to go inside.

I frequent this location a lot since I drive by it about 5 times a week. The drive through at this location is AWESOME and so convenient (for lazy people like me LOL!!). The employees are always very friendly. There is one Sri Lankan(?) guy who works here who is always a joy to receive my coffee from! He always wishes me a great rest of my day at work or school every time I come. Good way to start my morning!

Light and bright. Situated on a corner. LIGHT wood decor and furniture. I could spend some time here. GIANT boardroom table the only drawback. Seats about 24 I think. Guess it's great if you come in with your entire sorority but if you're "just the one" person makes it awkward to sit there. At least for me, not being a fan of sharing my space, or my anything else, with strangers.

Received the most rude service at this Starbucks drive thru where the cashier after asking how far along pregnant I was told me I was huge (in the stomach) for that amount of months. Starbuck cashiers are in no way licensed to tell any pregnant woman how she should look for her number of months pregnant in which my OBGYN always says that I am right on track. Even when I told the worker it was a rude comment he said "sometimes people know the right thing to do and still do/say the wrong thing". Like really? Beyond rude!

Lots of great big tables for studying. I asked the barista for hot water for my oatmeal (brought from home) and she offered me steamed soy milk (my drink was so too)! So sweet!

Came by for my morning fix of coffee. I'm usually a fan of Peet's out in CA...but we're in MD, so it's okay. Upon standing in line, I notice the employees chillaxing, singing, and hanging out while making drinks for the drive-thru customers... to each their own....as long as they get their job done.... not very professional in my book... Ordered a croissant and an iced mocha. Informed my barrista to pass on the whip cream, his response, "sure!" My drink comes out a minute later w/ whip cream... I give him a funny look and he's like, "what?" I informed him that he agreed to pass on the whip cream, meaning to skip the whip cream...his response... "ok." ...what a joker.

Better seating area then most in the area. Has a drive through but couldn't really talk to that. It was busy when I went there but the service still was fast and accurate. One of the better locations that I have had the pleasure of drinking some joe at

Great seating, great outlet access, great windows for pretending you actually get to enjoy the day when you're inside working, but most of all- GREAT employees! They are friendly, fast, and have a great memory for remembering personal details about customers. I love coming here, it's the best $1.97 I spend on any given day!

I've been to this Starbucks twice. The first time my coffee was really bad -- I asked to have it made again, and while it wasn't *as* bad, it was still very bitter. The second time I went, my coffee was just as bitter as the first time around.

this starbucks is better than yours because it has a drive thru! lordy, i love drive thrus. if you have a young kid, you know what i mean. you start keeping an internal map and inventory of everything that offers this extremely helpful service. although the line sometimes backs up and slows down (stop ordering 10 frappuccinos, people), for the most part things move in an efficient and orderly fashion. the staff is constantly changing, but i've encountered both extremely nice and extremely rude people here.

It's a shame that I still go to starbucks even though I work at a coffee shop that sells the best coffee in the DC metro area. I mean, if Murky wasn't so far away, I'd go there to get my coffee fix. Unfortunately, I have to come up with a backup plan... Starbucks. Yikes. So yeah, their espresso is burnt. Their coffee tastes burnt. But they have a DAMN GOOD gingerbread latte. For real. The staff at this store is pretty cool. I like the morning folk and some of the evening peeps. The midday shift people are okay, I guess. FINALLY - they're starting to catch onto the fact that I only want my grande travel mug filled HALFWAY. I've had this travel mug for over a month and EVERY TIME I ORDER A DRINK I've asked for it only half-filled, but they fill it up. Why? I don't know, but it was irritating. At least they know, finally.
